Privacy Policy

The Pablo Lambey Foundation ("we," "us," "our," or "the Foundation") operates this website ("the Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using this Site, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

Information We Collect

Contact form. When you use the contact form on this Site, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide, solely to respond to your inquiry.

Donations. When you make a donation through our donation form, your payment is processed by Donorbox and its payment processor(s), including Stripe. We do not directly collect or store your full payment card details on our own servers — this is handled by Donorbox in accordance with its own privacy policy and security standards. We may receive your name, email address, and donation amount from Donorbox in order to send you a receipt and acknowledge your gift.

Automatically collected information. We have not intentionally added any analytics or tracking tools (such as Google Analytics) to this Site. However, our web hosting provider's infrastructure may set technical or security-related cookies outside of our direct control. If we knowingly add analytics or tracking tools in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe what is collected. [Recommended before publishing: use your browser's developer tools on the live site to check what cookies are actually being set, so this statement can be confirmed as accurate.]

How We Use Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

Third-Party Services

This Site uses the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy governing the information it processes:

This Site does not currently use a mailing list or newsletter service. If one is added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect it.

Children's Privacy

This Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through this website. Program participant information (such as names, photos, and stories of scholarship recipients who may be minors) is collected and published separately, offline, with parental/guardian consent, and is not collected through this website's forms.

Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information submitted through this Site. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

You may request to review, correct, or delete personal information you have submitted to us by contacting us at the email below. As a California-registered organization, this Site may be subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and related California privacy law — [confirm with legal counsel whether the Foundation meets the CCPA's applicability thresholds, and expand this section with specific CCPA rights if so]. If the Foundation processes data of individuals in other jurisdictions with their own privacy laws (e.g., GDPR for EU/UK visitors), this section should be expanded accordingly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
